Privacy Policy

Information stored on your device

Symptom journal entries, quiz and screening answers, exercise history, and generated reports are stored locally on your device. Steady does not operate an account system or a server that receives this information.

Purchases

Apple processes payments. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated app-user identifier, product and transaction status, and limited app and device information used to validate purchases, keep Pro access in sync, and provide purchase analytics. Steady never receives your payment-card details.

Optional product analytics

Product analytics are optional and off by default. If you opt in, Amplitude receives a randomly generated app-instance identifier, generic app-open, onboarding-completion, and offer-view events, plus limited technical information needed to deliver those events. It never receives symptoms, journal content, quiz or screening answers, selected side, exercise details or outcomes, motion readings, or reports. You can turn analytics off at any time to stop future collection.

Optional install and ad measurement

Install and ad measurement is a separate optional choice and is off by default. If you opt in, AppsFlyer receives limited installation, device, and network metadata and creates an AppsFlyer identifier. With your consent, that identifier is also stored with RevenueCat. Steady does not send purchase events from RevenueCat to AppsFlyer in this release. Approved advertising partners may receive only limited campaign-measurement postbacks. Steady never sends symptoms, screening answers, exercise details, motion readings, journal content, or reports to AppsFlyer or advertising partners, and does not use this data for personalized health ads.

Reports and sharing

Reports are generated on your device. Steady shares a report only when you choose an option in the system share sheet.

Advertising and tracking

Steady does not show third-party advertising, sell personal information, build health-based advertising audiences, or use health information for ad targeting. Limited campaign measurement is enabled only after your separate optional choice. You can withdraw that choice in Settings to stop future AppsFlyer collection and clear the AppsFlyer identifier held by RevenueCat.

Retention and deletion

Deleting the app removes information stored locally by Steady. Apple, RevenueCat, Amplitude, AppsFlyer, and any approved measurement partner may retain transaction, analytics, or attribution records already received under their own policies and legal obligations. Turning a choice off stops future optional collection but does not automatically erase records already sent. Because Steady has no account, local journal data cannot be recovered after deletion.
